OUR DIAMONDS
Here are some important terms to describe the unique properties of each diamond:
Carat refers to the weight of the diamond. 1 carat = 0.2 grams / 1 carat = 100 points.
Clarity means the presence, or lack of flaws. Because they are formed in nature, natural gemstones are not entirely flawless excluding the very rare ones. Almost all diamonds have slight internal and surface characteristics, most of them too small to be seen by the unaided eye. AUBREY select diamonds from VVS1 (Very, Very Small Inclusions) to SI1 and SI2 (Small Inclusions).
Colour and Cut work in tandem because our expertly skilled craftspeople can cut a gemstone to heighten its colour, brilliance and symmetry. A gemstone’s beauty often comes from its colour. AUBREY selects diamonds from the top grades D, E, F, G, H only.

AUBREY founder Melanie Martin has a background in design, working across multiple platforms including fashion and interiors for many years. "Our salon is a vibrant environment which reflects the colourful world we create". The salon is located in the heart of Noosa Heads where you are invited to visit, browse our collections, or discuss working on a bespoke piece.
The salon is open Wednesday through Friday 10.00 to 4.00pm.
